Salary: €133,000 – €167,000 (Base compensation in Ireland)

What you will do
- Hire, manage, and mentor a team of engineers while supporting their long-term career growth.
- Collaborate with leadership to define squad goals that align with broader product and business strategies.
- Guide technical projects from ideation through execution and post-launch support.

- Partner across teams to solve complex problems and contribute to initiatives beyond immediate squad scope.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in Germany, Sweden, Spain, Ireland, or the UK.
- Demonstrable experience in building and managing bare metal or on-prem environments.
- Strong background in distributed systems principles, including scalability and fault tolerance.
- Experience leading initiatives or small teams and managing complex project cycles.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to ground decisions in real-world user needs.
- Comfortable using AI-assisted tooling in daily workflows for productivity and development.
Nice to have
- Practical experience running Kubernetes or Ceph in production environments.
- Previous experience dealing with colocation facilities and hardware vendors.
- Experience working in open-source or community-based projects.
