What you will do

• Define and execute the platform strategy to ensure systems scale reliably as customer demand and data complexity increase.
• Build and scale high-performing engineering teams, establishing culture and practices that foster growth and iterative delivery.
• Partner with product and design teams to ensure infrastructure supports robust, user-centered feature development.
• Implement and maintain rigorous observability, testing, and CI/CD standards across all core systems.
• Translate high-level operational signals into clear, actionable technical decisions to improve customer outcomes.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing and scaling large software engineering teams of 30+ members.
• Deep expertise in building and operating distributed systems within real-world production environments.
• Hands-on experience deploying and operating systems in major cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong background in platform architecture, including databases, APIs, DevOps, and AI infrastructure.
• Proven command of observability tools (logs, metrics, traces, alerting).
• Must be able to work on-site in New York 4 days per week.
