Salary: $125,000 - $175,000

What you will do

• Collaborate with product managers and designers to develop scalable backend services.
• Build and optimize APIs and infrastructure for acquisition funnels and e-commerce.
• Write well-tested, maintainable code using Java, Kafka, Postgres, and AWS.
• Break down requirements into actionable tasks and deliver on sprint commitments.
• Implement high-availability services to support millions of users.
• Work with data scientists to measure performance and iterate on growth experiments.

Requirements

• Professional backend engineering experience in a production environment.
• Proficiency in building APIs and working with relational databases.
• Experience with event-driven systems and tools like Kafka or SQS.
• Strong testing and documentation skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be located in or willing to relocate to Boston, MA.
