What you will do

• Lead the information security function, including engineering delivery and daily operations.
• Translate regulatory and risk requirements into auditable technical controls.
• Oversee incident response as Incident Commander, coordinating internal and external teams.
• Develop metrics, standard operating procedures, and automation to scale security operations.
• Manage security for internal AI technology adoption and enterprise workflows.
• Lead and mentor security managers and senior individual contributors to drive team performance.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in information security, security engineering, or operations.
• 5+ years managing managers and senior individual contributors.
• Proven leadership experience during high-impact security incidents and crisis situations.
• Strong background in regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI.
• Experience driving execution through metrics and measurable goals in high-growth environments.
• Must work onsite in Boston, MA; relocation assistance available if required.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, biometric, or health-adjacent data environments.
• Background in high-growth technology organizations.
• Professional security certifications (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent).
