Location: Mesa, Arizona. This position requires a hybrid model (3 days in office, 2 days remote) and is only considering local Arizona talent. Not eligible for sponsorship.

What you will do

• Plan, design, and implement security measures to safeguard enterprise networks, systems, and data.
• Configure, deploy, fine-tune, and monitor security tools such as SIEM, WAF, Firewall, Zero-Trust, IAM, MFA, EPP, SOAR, DLP, and CASB.
• Oversee individual contributors, providing clear vision and goals for cybersecurity integration into enterprise architecture.
• Serve as the cybersecurity subject matter expert, offering guidance and consulting services to IT teams and business units.
• Lead and participate in security operations support and incident management.
• Monitor vendor and third-party security reports and proactively patch vulnerabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• 10 years of progressive technology experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a cybersecurity engineering or architecture leadership role.
• Expertise in information security management and business risk management.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
• Minimum CISSP or CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Extensive experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and allocation.
• Experience conforming cybersecurity practices to SOX, PCI, NIST, ISO, and SOC 2.
• Must be locally located in Arizona and comfortable working a 3 days in office hybrid model and 2 days remote.

Nice to have

• Other security certifications, such as GSEC, OSCP, or CISM.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, respond quickly, and prioritize work with strong attention to detail.
