What you will do

• Architect and guide the overall security landscape as the primary technical authority.
• Lead the transition to a resilient enterprise architecture capable of defending sensitive healthcare data.
• Partner with executive leadership to translate technical risks into business priorities.
• Automate compliance processes for frameworks including HIPAA, SOC2, SOC1, PCI, and HITRUST.
• Evangelize a secure-by-design culture through threat modeling and secure coding practices across the organization.
• Oversee third-party penetration testing and conduct deep dives into vendor architectures.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in security engineering in both startup and scaled enterprise environments.
• Proven track record of architecting secure systems across complex technical surface areas.
• Deep understanding of sensitive, highly regulated datasets and protected critical information.
• Ability to write secure infrastructure-as-code and perform threat modeling on distributed systems.
• Must be located in or willing to work from San Francisco, Denver, or New York.
