What you will do

• Lead, coach, and scale a team of full-stack and AI engineers.
• Own the team’s delivery cadence, ensuring rapid execution without sacrificing quality.
• Partner with Product and Design to translate ambitious roadmaps into executable technical plans.
• Drive technical decisions on architecture, tooling, and build-vs-buy strategies.
• Uphold high standards for code quality, review processes, and incident response.
• Represent the team and communicate progress and trade-offs to organizational leadership.

Requirements

• Must be based in London or willing to commute to the office within 60 minutes.
• Full-time, 5 days a week in-office attendance is required.
• Strong software engineering background, preferably with full-stack experience (React, Node.js, Python).
• Proven experience in people leadership, performance management, and team building.
• Solid understanding of the AI landscape, including LLMs and real-time systems.
• Clear communication skills with the ability to synthesize technical complexity for diverse audiences.
