What you will do

  • Act as the single point of accountability for testing transparency and assurance at the programme level.
  • Identify and manage the critical path for testing across complex technology delivery streams.
  • Lead the Testing Reporting Office to provide evidence-based views on quality, risk, and deployment readiness.
  • Manage a programme-level dependency map covering systems, data, environments, and suppliers.
  • Challenge unrealistic commitments and align scope, timelines, and quality outcomes with agreed risk appetite.
  • Hold delivery teams and suppliers accountable for test readiness and defect management to protect delivery dates.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or able to work from London or Southampton
  • Proven experience leading test delivery on complex programmes with multiple system integrations.
  • Strong working knowledge of software testing lifecycles and environment management.
  • In-depth knowledge of project and programme delivery methodologies, including Scaled Agile.
  • Experience operating in regulated environments, ideally within the financial services sector.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
