TL;DR

Commercial Account Executive (SaaS): Managing the full sales cycle for mid-market and commercial accounts with an accent on selling incident management and reliability platforms to technical buyers. Focus on building pipeline through prospecting, leading consultative discovery, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth.

Location: Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area and able to work onsite 3x/week in San Mateo, CA

Salary: $105,000 - $136,500 (plus variable compensation)

What you will do

  • Manage the end-to-end sales process from initial prospecting through final contract closure
  • Conduct discovery meetings to understand the technical reliability challenges and business priorities of prospective clients
  • Navigate complex multi-stakeholder buying processes involving DevOps, SRE, and IT leadership
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline via strategic account planning and proactive outbound efforts
  • Partner with Marketing, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless client delivery
  • Represent product value by translating technical incident response workflows into clear business outcomes

Requirements

  • 2-4+ years of experience in SaaS sales with a proven track record of meeting revenue targets
  • Experience selling to technical audiences such as DevOps, SRE, Engineering, IT, or Security teams
  • Ability to navigate complex, consultative sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into value propositions
  • Self-motivated and curious mindset with a focus on accountability and professional growth
  • Must be located in the San Francisco Bay Area and able to work onsite 3x/week in San Mateo, CA

Nice to have

  • Experience selling developer tools, infrastructure, or reliability platforms
  • Familiarity with incident management, monitoring, or on-call workflows
