TL;DR

Sales Director (Life Sciences): Leading enterprise software sales to pharma, CROs, and biotech organizations with an accent on driving revenue growth and market expansion for digital pathology AI solutions. Focus on developing strategic account relationships at the executive level, executing sales strategies, and identifying new business opportunities within the US life sciences R&D sector.

Location: Must be based in the United States (Remote/Home Office) with ability to travel up to 40%.

What you will do

  • Lead sales initiatives targeting life sciences segments including Pharma, CROs, and biotech companies.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to expand market share and drive revenue growth.
  • Manage strategic accounts, establishing high-level executive interfaces to position the company as a preferred supplier.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, customer data, and records within Salesforce.
  • Provide active input into local marketing strategies and monitor competitor activities.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through consistent market analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years or Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience in enterprise software sales to Life Sciences organizations.
  • Must be authorized to work and currently reside in the United States.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding bookings and performance metrics.
  • Fluent in business English, verbal and written.
  • Ability to perform significant travel (minimum 35-40%).
  • Experience targeting key accounts in the R&D space such as drug discovery, compounds research, or toxicology.

  • Established network with senior leadership in Pharma and CROs.
  • Experience with digital pathology, oncology, image analysis, or AI software solutions.
