What you will do

• Apply GenAI and ML to solve real-world financial problems such as spending analysis and task automation.
• Design and build complex AI features, including agent systems and advanced prompt-engineered solutions.
• Select and implement appropriate AI tools, balancing innovation with pragmatism for reliable production use.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated evaluation frameworks to ensure high-quality AI outputs.
• Collaborate with the AI Platform team on end-to-end feature quality, model improvements, and production monitoring.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years building production ML/AI systems.
• Hands-on expertise in prompt engineering, RAG systems, and AI evaluation techniques.
• Strong fundamentals in machine learning, including embeddings, similarity search, and classification.
• Demonstrated experience with Python and building production-grade AI services.
• Ability to collaborate effectively while maintaining a sharp product-focused mindset.
• Must be based in the US to align with core team hours and benefit structures.

Nice to have

• Experience designing multi-agent systems using frameworks like LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
• Hands-on experience with model fine-tuning (LoRA, RLHF) and vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone).
• Background in fintech, personal finance, or banking applications.
• Experience with red-teaming, adversarial testing, and implementing AI guardrails.
