What you will do

• Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to design and integrate AI features into the user experience.
• Build and maintain scalable ML pipelines and infrastructure balancing speed, flexibility, security, and scalability.
• Develop and optimize LLM-powered features including natural language query generation and data summarization.
• Design and implement prompt engineering strategies and evaluation frameworks, iterating on model performance.
• Fine-tune large language models or custom architectures for performance, latency, and cost-efficiency.
• Stay current with AI research and apply state-of-the-art techniques to business problems.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid work in San Mateo, CA, USA
• English: C1 level required for technical communication
• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering focused on Machine Learning or AI.
• Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn.
• Experience with prompt engineering, LLM/GenAI productionalization, REST/GraphQL APIs, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent experience.

• Experience building and integrating SaaS platforms.
