Product Owner

TL;DR

Product Owner (Agile/Intelligence): Developing and delivering new capabilities for federal intelligence infrastructure with an accent on backlog management, sprint planning, and translating complex technical requirements into user stories. Focus on facilitating collaboration between stakeholders and engineering teams within a SAFe and Scrum environment.

Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Reston, VA. Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph is required.

What you will do

• Act as the primary contact between stakeholders and Agile teams to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Develop and manage product requirements including Epics, Features, and User Stories.
• Lead scrum teams in backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and delivery of high-value features.
• Facilitate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on product goals and sprint objectives.
• Continuously assess and optimize product development processes and system performance.
• Provide regular status updates to management and non-technical stakeholders regarding product progress.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of related professional experience.
• Active IAT Level II and CSSP Infrastructure Support certifications.
• Minimum 3 years of experience writing User Stories and working in a software/systems engineering environment.
• Experience with SAFe, Agile, or Scrum methodologies.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence tools.

Nice to have

• AWS or other Cloud platform certifications.
• Experience with Linux Systems administration.
• Background in DoD or IC infrastructure A&A processes.
