What you will do

• Lead design across the Trust & Safety domain, setting strategic direction and executing high-quality product experiences.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of four designers, including product and content design specialists.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Policy teams to align design vision with business and operational realities.
• Maintain high craft standards and design system consistency across squads.
• Champion design-led innovation to address complex user safety and behavioral challenges.
• Foster a collaborative culture of experimentation, critique, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing product designers, with previous experience as a Lead-level individual contributor.
• Proven track record of building and developing high-performing design teams.
• Strong expertise in navigating ambiguous problem spaces and delivering shipped products.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior cross-functional leaders.
• Strong design instincts and the ability to elevate the quality of work within a team.

Nice to have

• Experience designing for Trust & Safety, marketplace integrity, identity, or community health.
• Familiarity with experimentation frameworks or machine learning signals.
• Background in content design management.
