What you will do
- Drive experience strategy across multiple product areas by aligning design vision with organizational goals.
- Define problems and evaluate tradeoffs using qualitative and quantitative data to measure impact.
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align Product, Engineering, and Research on shared problem definitions.
- Own end-to-end design execution, producing high-quality prototypes and specifications.
- Evolve the Heart design system to ensure consistency, scalability, and accessibility across the product ecosystem.
- Mentor junior team members and lead design critiques to elevate the quality of craft across the organization.
Requirements
- Must be located in the San Francisco Bay Area.
- 6+ years of experience in product design within in-house or agency settings.
- Strong expertise in typography, layout, balance, and visual design fundamentals.
- End-to-end experience designing consumer-facing interfaces for web and native mobile apps.
- Proven ability to articulate design decisions and strategies to stakeholders.
- Experience working in lean, cross-functional teams with engineers and researchers.
