What you will do
- Drive experience strategy across multiple product areas by aligning design vision with business objectives.
- Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to translate complex problems into elegant, actionable solutions.
- Own end-to-end design execution, including high-quality prototypes, designs, and specifications.
- Lead cross-functional workshops and collaborations with research, marketing, and data teams.
- Steward and evolve the Heart design system to ensure consistency, scalability, and accessibility.
- Mentor designers and lead design critiques to maintain high standards of craft across the organization.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of experience as a Product Designer in-house or at an agency.
- Proven ability to design consumer-facing experiences for both web and native applications.
- Strong aesthetic judgment and expert understanding of typography, layout, and composition.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and vision clearly.
- Thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with a proactive, user-centered approach.
- Must be located in the San Francisco Bay Area and able to work in-office 3x per week.

- Experience designing for native mobile applications.
