Salary: $181,000–$271,000 + equity + benefits.

What you will do

• Drive experience strategy across multiple product areas by aligning design vision with business objectives.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to translate complex problems into elegant, actionable solutions.
• Own end-to-end design execution, including high-quality prototypes, designs, and specifications.
• Lead cross-functional workshops and collaborations with research, marketing, and data teams.
• Steward and evolve the Heart design system to ensure consistency, scalability, and accessibility.
• Mentor designers and lead design critiques to maintain high standards of craft across the organization.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience as a Product Designer in-house or at an agency.
• Proven ability to design consumer-facing experiences for both web and native applications.
• Strong aesthetic judgment and expert understanding of typography, layout, and composition.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and vision clearly.
• Thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with a proactive, user-centered approach.
• Must be located in the San Francisco Bay Area and able to work in-office 3x per week.

Nice to have

• Experience designing for native mobile applications.
• Experience using AI tools for design or development workflows.
