Product Engineer (AI)

Location: In person at the San Francisco office, United States

hirify.global is an AI document platform that uses vision models, language models, and heuristics to extract and structure information from complex documents.

What you will do

• Build and refine core hirify.global Studio features, including document viewers, extraction workflows, data visualization, and editing interfaces.
• Create intuitive interfaces that simplify complex AI-powered document workflows.
• Prototype and deliver features such as form filling, translation, document editing, and document classification.
• Implement real-time collaboration and responsive experiences across devices.
• Work with Next.js, Tailwind, Convex, and the product design system to ship quickly while maintaining quality.
• Collaborate directly with founders and customers to shape product direction through user feedback.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience building applications with modern frameworks.
• Exceptional TypeScript and React skills with strong design sensibility.
• Ability to work across the full development lifecycle, from ideation and experimentation to shipping and iteration.
• Strong product intuition, attention to detail, ownership, and a high bar for quality.
• Comfort with debugging, quantitative experimentation, rapid iteration, and building internal tools or prototypes.
• Willingness to work in person at the San Francisco office.

Nice to have

• Experience founding a company or building products at an early stage.
• Experience with document viewers, PDF rendering, or complex data visualization.
• Knowledge of recent frontend engineering and design-system developments.
