Fullstack Product Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Mountain View, California or San Francisco, California

Estimated base salary: $170,000–$230,000 annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Build and own ambient AI product experiences from exploration through launch, measurement, and iteration.
• Develop real-time transcription, ambient documentation, AI-assisted clinical review, multimodal inputs, intelligent recommendations, and agentic workflows.
• Deliver cohesive experiences across Flutter mobile applications, web surfaces, backend services, APIs, and cross-device workflows.
• Design data models, APIs, service boundaries, asynchronous jobs, synchronization, and resilient offline experiences.
• Partner with clinicians, product managers, designers, and AI engineers to turn clinical needs into trustworthy products.
• Own quality across usability, performance, accessibility, analytics, testing, observability, and release readiness.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software development experience with significant ownership of user-facing products or features.
• Strong experience across multiple parts of the stack, including mobile or web clients, backend services, APIs, databases, or cloud infrastructure.
• Experience taking ambiguous product ideas through technical design, implementation, launch, and iteration.
• Experience building polished frontend experiences and operating backend services, APIs, and data models in production.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, testing, observability, reliability, maintainability, usability, and performance.
• Strong product judgment, ownership, collaboration skills, and a bias for action.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-native, conversational, agentic, real-time, audio, video, transcription, or streaming products.
• Experience with Flutter, Dart, JavaScript, TypeScript, or another cross-platform mobile framework.
• Experience integrating large language models, transcription systems, or machine-learning services into production.
• Experience with offline-first applications, background synchronization, event-driven systems, asynchronous workflows, or real-time data pipelines.
• Exposure to healthcare, HIPAA, SOC 2, privacy, security, Chrome extensions, or workflows spanning mobile, browser, and web applications.
