What you will do

• Develop and deploy new features and enhancements into a production-grade database environment.
• Optimize SQL query performance using techniques like SIMD and LLVM code generation.
• Improve system fault tolerance and reliability for clustered database deployments.
• Design and implement search and costing modules for the query optimizer.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, marketing, and sales to drive product impact.
• Participate in the full product life cycle, from writing code to testing and deployment.

Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong programming skills in C++ or C.
• Deep understanding of CS fundamentals, specifically operating systems, multithreading, and server architectures.
• Firm grasp of algorithms and data structures.
• Passionate about building highly reliable, performance-oriented software.
