What you will do

• Solve scaling bottlenecks in critical services.
• Design and implement architectures to handle high-scale traffic.
• Deploy and roll out new features using feature flags.
• Investigate and resolve production issues for owned services.
• Collaborate with the team to plan and execute high-priority projects.

Requirements

• Significant experience in one or more programming languages.
• Proven ability to design architecture for high-scale systems.
• Strong commitment to code simplicity and performance.
• BS/MS/PhD in a scientific field or equivalent professional experience.
• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid setup in Lisbon, Portugal.
