What you will do

• Develop and maintain eTrading platform modules, components, and utilities.
• Manage the full development lifecycle including support, CI/CD, and bug fixing.
• Collaborate with global engineering, business, and support teams.
• Drive innovation through greenfield development projects.
• Optimize platform performance using advanced C++ features and hardware-level tuning.

Requirements

• English: Good written and spoken proficiency required.
• Strong experience with modern C++ (11/14/17/20), STL, and Boost.
• Solid understanding of design patterns, architecture, data structures, and algorithms.
• Confident Linux development skills including cmake, gcc, and gdb.
• Must be based in Lisbon to support the hybrid work model.

Nice to have

• Experience with Unix scripting, bash, or python.
• Knowledge of FIX protocol or other fintech-specific protocols.
