Location: Must be based in the US (Washington, DC / San Antonio, TX / Boston, MA preferred). This role is remote/hybrid and requires eligibility for a DoD Security Clearance.
Salary: $65,000–$75,000 base + commission

What you will do
- Research federal opportunities and acquisition forecasts on platforms like SAM.gov.
- Conduct active outbound phone and email outreach to prospective DoD customers.
- Manage and update the federal opportunity pipeline using CRM tools.
- Schedule introductory meetings and briefings to drive early-stage conversations.
- Coordinate with leadership on follow-ups, next steps, and market insights.
- Maintain high data integrity and status tracking within internal reporting systems.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles.
- Eligibility for a DoD Security Clearance (Top Secret preferred).
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage work independently.
- Proficiency with modern productivity tools such as Google Workspace.
- Proactive and curious mindset towards learning federal government acquisition processes.
Nice to have
- Experience with Deltek GovWin, Monday.com, or Salesforce.
- Familiarity with DoD, Air Force missions, or military-adjacent environments.
- Interest in technical domains like cloud computing, DevSecOps, or AI.
- Previous internship or coursework related to government contracting or sales.
