Technical Supervisor (Video Production)

Location: Onsite in Boca Raton, Florida, United States. Ability to travel is required.

What you will do

• Manage daily technical operations for the Boca Raton studio, including video, audio, lighting, networking, and communications systems.
• Serve as Director of Photography for studio and field shoots, designing lighting setups and directing multi-camera productions.
• Lead technical execution for travel and remote shoots, including location scouting, mobile studio setup, gear management, and studio-to-remote coordination.
• Manage equipment inventory, repairs, upgrades, vendor relationships, recording, ingest, archiving, and footage transfers.
• Perform quality control, calibration, and proactive troubleshooting across camera, lighting, and audio systems.
• Train and support technical staff and freelancers while coordinating production standards with the Nashville team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in live or recorded video production, preferably in a broadcast or digital media studio.
• Expert knowledge of camera systems such as Sony, Canon, Blackmagic, and RED, as well as lighting instruments and audio signal flow.
• Experience with AVID systems, Pro Tools, Logic, multi-camera production, and lighting design for studio and field environments.
• Familiarity with video switching, routing, and monitoring systems such as Blackmagic ATEM and Ross.
• Working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, or other non-linear editing systems for basic editing and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently on travel shoots and manage technical delivery from pre-production through completion.

• Experience with conservative media or fast-paced talk and news formats.
