What you will do
- Direct and switch multi-camera broadcasts, live events, recordings, and studio productions.
- Operate and manage control-room systems, including video switchers, audio consoles, routing systems, graphics systems, and camera controls.
- Set up, configure, test, maintain, and troubleshoot studio and broadcast equipment.
- Coordinate with producers, directors, editors, engineers, and other production staff to deliver high-quality broadcasts.
- Supervise, train, and guide camera operators, audio engineers, technical staff, and freelance personnel.
- Document technical setups, signal flows, equipment configurations, issues, and production outcomes.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience as a technical director or in a similar broadcast role.
- Proficiency with broadcast equipment, video switching, audio consoles, routing, graphics, camera controls, broadcast standards, and signal flow.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Avid, Final Cut Pro, or similar broadcast software.
- Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments.
- Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, according to production schedules.
