What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for the Matter protocol stack.
• Lead technical initiatives and provide mentorship to junior engineering team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Matter over Thread and Wi-Fi platforms.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and memory usage for resource-constrained environments.
• Perform hands-on debugging and troubleshooting using tools like JTAG, GDB, and logic analyzers.
• Support protocol certification and interoperability testing to ensure product robustness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of professional experience in embedded systems development.
• Strong proficiency in C++ with deep knowledge of memory management and concurrency.
• Solid understanding of networking protocols including Wi-Fi and Thread.
• Experience with RTOS environments and low-level hardware interfaces like UART, SPI, and I2C.
• Proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineers.

Nice to have

• Experience with Matter, HomeKit, or similar application-layer protocols.
• Familiarity with Zephyr RTOS and Linux environments.
• Knowledge of IPv6, mDNS, and secure commissioning flows.
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered tools to enhance productivity.
