TL;DR

What you will do

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret payroll data to identify trends and improve accuracy.
  • Ensure payroll processes strictly adhere to country-specific tax laws and compliance requirements.
  • Support payroll operations by validating data and identifying discrepancies in records and benefits.
  • Conduct regular audits to verify accuracy and ensure reconciliation between payroll and general ledger accounts.
  • Leverage HR systems and payroll software to enhance reporting capabilities and workflow efficiency.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and internal Finance/People teams to ensure timely tax, benefit, and deduction processing.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in payroll analysis, finance, or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including data transformation tooling.
  • Solid understanding of payroll tax laws and international compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to analyze large datasets and identify actionable insights.
  • Fluent English is required for this role.
  • Must reside within UTC+0 / +2 time zones.

Nice to have

  • Experience with hybrid country payroll exposure (e.g., Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France, Ireland, Spain, Italy, CEE, APAC, or South Africa).
  • Knowledge of accounting principles as applied to payroll reconciliation.
