Project Controls Analyst

What you will do

• Develop and maintain integrated master schedules with resource-loaded activities, milestones, and dependencies.
• Perform critical path analysis to identify schedule risks and opportunities.
• Implement and manage earned value management (EVM) systems to track program performance.
• Analyze cost and schedule variances and provide regular performance reports to stakeholders.
• Manage and track DoD RDT&E funding in compliance with regulations and reporting requirements.
• Conduct return on investment (ROI) analysis to support project prioritization and decision-making.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related technical discipline or a Bachelor’s degree with an additional eight (8) years experience.
• 10 years in project controls, scheduling, or related roles.
• Proven experience in project controls, scheduling, or similar analytical roles.
• Experience managing or supporting DoD RDT&E funding.
• In-depth knowledge of earned value management (EVM) principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project management tools, including Microsoft Project.

Nice to have

• Demonstrated understanding of IT systems and technologies (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, databases).
• Ability to analyze trends and support data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
