TL;DR

Sr. Staff Digital Design Engineer (Hardware): Developing digital logic circuits and digital filters for mixed-signal audio converters, amplifiers, embedded SoCs, and power/energy management applications with an accent on digital signal processing and data conversion ICs. Focus on designing digital subsystems for high-performance mixed-signal ICs and supporting tape-out and post-silicon activities.

What you will do

• Design using Verilog, logic simulation, functional verification, and synthesis of Digital Signal Processing and data conversion IC’s in a mixed signal environment.
• Implement RTL modules and perform integration and integrated functional verification.
• Perform behavioral modeling of analog and mixed signal circuits, vector generation testing, and lab test development.
• Design digital subsystems that form the core of our high-performance mixed-signal ICs from concept to mass production in a team environment.
• Support tape-out and post-silicon activities, including validation, characterization, and production test.

Requirements

• Master's degree with 8+ years; PhD with 6+ years; or Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 10+ years of proven IC development experience.
• Expertise in Digital Signal Processing.
• Knowledge of Microprocessor & State Machine design.
• Knowledge of digital design flow from microarchitecture, RTL design, simulation, verification, synthesis.
• Familiarity with CMOS VLSI Design.
• Working knowledge of Verilog RTL language and strong oral and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with low power and high performance mixed-signal ASIC design.
• Knowledge of ASIC verification.
• Behavioral modeling of Analog Circuits.
• MATLAB, algorithm development, and validation/debug of silicon chip designs.
