Security Analyst

TL;DR

Security Analyst: Correlates threat data from various sources to identify hackers and their methods within client networks, providing assessments and reports on current cyber threats. Focus on developing cyber threat profiles, conducting intelligence analysis, and researching vulnerabilities to brief leadership.

Location: Washington, DC (4 days onsite, Fridays remote)

Salary: $81,850 - $110,000 Annually

What you will do

• Collaborate with intrusion analysts to identify and report on cyber threats.
• Provide actionable intelligence to cyber incident response professionals.
• Assess the client's security posture using technical knowledge of computer systems and networks.
• Conduct intelligence analysis to assess intrusion signatures and cyber attack techniques.
• Research hackers, vulnerabilities, and exploits, providing briefings and intelligence reports to leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of security analysis experience.
• Required certification: Splunk Fundamentals I & II.
• Must be able to maintain a public trust clearance.

Nice to have
