What you will do
- Direct the coordination and remediation of high-severity security vulnerabilities across infrastructure and cloud environments.
- Utilize Databricks to analyze massive datasets for risk identification and leadership reporting.
- Configure and oversee technical requirements for security scanning vendors.
- Design and optimize AI-driven workflows to automatically identify, prioritize, and track security findings.
- Collaborate with product teams, developers, and system administrators to provide expert remediation guidance.
- Lead response efforts for emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in information security, focusing on vulnerability management or security engineering.
- Strong understanding of Linux, Windows, and OSX vulnerabilities, patching, and attack patterns.
- Proficiency in Python or Go for automation and API integration.
- Extensive experience with vulnerability scanners like Tenable, Qualys, or AWS Inspector.
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and container technologies like Kubernetes.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have
- CISSP certification.
- Advanced experience with Databricks for log analysis.
- Strong background in SDLC and patch management processes.
