What you will do
- Plan, design, and deliver business continuity and crisis response exercises.
- Independently manage and execute assigned exercises from planning through evaluation.
- Design and facilitate exercises to validate plans, procedures, and decision-making processes.
- Develop realistic, risk-aligned exercise scenarios, ensuring increasing complexity over time.
- Capture observations, lessons learned, and develop after-action reports (AARs).
- Track corrective actions and partner with stakeholders to drive remediation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience independently owning and delivering business continuity, crisis response, and cyber security exercises.
- Demonstrated ability to scale an exercise program with repeatable processes, templates, and metrics.
- Proven track record of operating with autonomy while partnering effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Effective written and oral communication skills, including delivering briefings to top management.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and project management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk/Resilience, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
Nice to have
- Relevant certification in business continuity, risk, or resilience (e.g., ABCP, CBCP, CISSP).
- Experience with supporting crisis management events (public or private sector).
- Technology sector experience, particularly Cloud native.
- Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau) and Business Continuity software.
- Awareness of chaos engineering testing.
