Associate Director, Project Management (Medical Affairs)

Salary: $100,000–$110,000 per year, plus annual bonus

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop project managers across multiple client programmes.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of digital Medical Affairs initiatives, including education hubs, videos, slide decks, email campaigns, and live or virtual meeting content.
• Coordinate with Account Management, Editorial, Scientific, Creative, and global teams to deliver client priorities on time and within budget.
• Streamline project processes, maintain compliance, and drive continuous operational improvement.
• Serve as a senior escalation point for project challenges, risk management, and resource alignment.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of project management experience in medical communications, healthcare agencies, medical education, or pharmaceutical agencies.
• Experience managing teams and mentoring project management talent.
• Experience translating client priorities into actionable plans and keeping complex projects on track.
• Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and proactive planning skills.
• Knowledge of global pharmaceutical regulations, including ABPI and EMA.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple time zones and complex cross-functional environments.
