Senior Project Manager (Clinical Research)

Location: Remote, United States. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without employer sponsorship. Domestic and international travel, including overnight stays, may be required.

Salary: $147,300–$220,900 USD annually, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Plan, direct, coordinate, and deliver complex global clinical study projects within agreed quality, scope, budget, and timelines.
• Act as the primary client contact and escalation point while coordinating internal functions and external vendors.
• Manage study budgets, profitability, billing, forecasting, scope changes, and project performance metrics.
• Develop project plans, timelines, risk mitigation strategies, status reports, and client presentations.
• Lead quality management activities, including eTMF inspection readiness, quality notifications, and corrective and preventive action plans.
• Lead internal and client meetings, support study-specific training, and provide ongoing feedback to functional team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience in a science or health-related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 7 years of clinical research experience and 4 years of direct project management experience, or proven competencies for the position.
• Experience managing complex and global clinical trials in pharmaceutical and/or medical device research.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, eTMF, EDC, CTMS, and project management software.
• Knowledge of ICH-GCP and relevant standard operating procedures, with strong planning, risk management, change management, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

• Advanced degree in a science or health-related field.
• Experience in oncology and cell and/or gene therapy.
