What you will do

• Deploy, manage, and support high-performance workstations, servers, and large storage systems.
• Maintain production infrastructure including network services, AD, and asset management databases.
• Automate workstation and server builds using tools like Ansible and PXE.
• Provide technical support for artist-facing tools (Nuke, Maya, Houdini) and render farm queues.
• Contribute to cloud computing strategies and public cloud resource management (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Liaise with vendors and coordinate software license agreements.

Requirements

• Must have existing right to work in the UK.
• Previous experience in a Technology or Engineering role within a VFX or Post-Production environment.
• Strong Linux proficiency with additional knowledge of Windows and macOS.
• Experience managing production services like license servers, render farms, and configuration management tools.
• Working knowledge of VFX pipeline tools (Nuke, Flame, Houdini, Maya, Deadline).
• Excellent communication and customer service mindset for a deadline-driven studio environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform, Puppet, or similar infrastructure-as-code technologies.
• Understanding of digital security policy implementation.
