Network Ops Engineer III

TL;DR

Network Ops Engineer III: Supporting CME’s network infrastructure through monitoring, troubleshooting, and change implementation with an accent on ensuring service operation within agreed service levels and alignment to policies. Focus on platform stability and sustained delivery to clients and internal stakeholders.

Location: Hybrid Role – 2 Days/week required in the office in Belfast

What you will do

• Act as first responders, helping to organize and control incident response.
• Monitor and manage platforms to ensure that internal SLAs, operational KPIs and quality standards are met.
• Handle complex technical support issues and support network faults in a multi vendor, multi-appliance infrastructure.
• Work closely with other IT teams, vendors, and service providers to resolve incidents and service requests.
• Maintain accurate troubleshooting records through industry standard ticketing systems.
• Contribute to the overall development of the operational systems and processes.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in a fast paced, enterprise NOC role (minimum 2nd or 3rd line experience).
• In-depth support experience of LAN & WAN technologies.
• Exposure to firewalls, and load balancing with an understanding of security posture and Internet architectures.
• Understanding of Wireless technologies.
• Understanding/experience with ISO and ITIL standards.
• Experience Supporting or Working with Cloud Technologies.

Nice to have

• Enterprise R&S certification (Cisco, Juniper, etc.).
• Enterprise Firewall Certification (Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.).
• Cloud Certification - GCP (Preferable) / AWS / Azure Certification.
• Toolset Management experience (Solarwinds, or similar).
