What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain distributed backend services optimized for scalability and performance.
- Develop and optimize GraphQL APIs to serve both real-time and batch data.
- Manage data pipelines and streaming applications using tools like Apache Kafka and Flink.
- Implement caching solutions with Redis and OpenSearch to improve service efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate features across various company verticals.
- Participate in technical design reviews and utilize infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) for service provisioning.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in backend software development.
- Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Go, or Python.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems principles, including consistency and availability.
- Hands-on experience with NoSQL and relational databases such as DynamoDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and container-based deployment workflows.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Nice to have
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions.
- Operational knowledge of observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
- Background in messaging systems like SNS or SQS.
