What you will do

• Lead hands-on implementation and delivery of high-quality features for the Android mobile app.
• Provide technical leadership and enforce rigorous design and code reviews.
• Collaborate with product managers and UX designers to build next-generation commerce initiatives.
• Optimize application code, APIs, and platform efficiency for large-scale production systems.
• Implement and maintain robust continuous integration and automated testing infrastructure.
• Contribute to the ongoing modernization of the mobile tech stack and architecture.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java for Android development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Deep understanding of Android framework components, lifecycles, and modern design patterns.
• Proven experience in mobile test-driven development using Espresso, Roboelectric, or Appium.
• Strong background in data structures, algorithms, and deployment architecture.

Nice to have

• Experience with JetPack Compose for modern UI development.
• Exposure to AI, ML, and GenAI technologies.
• Familiarity with web technologies including Node.js, TypeScript, and HTML5/CSS3.
