Salary: $120,000–$150,000

What you will do

• Develop and maintain new features for the hirify.global Android application.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including product managers, designers, and backend engineers.
• Triage, debug, and resolve software issues to ensure application performance and stability.
• Perform code reviews to foster engineering excellence.
• Participate in agile ceremonies to ensure team alignment and project progress.
• Contribute to the long-term health and evolution of the application codebase.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of professional Android development experience.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Android SDKs.
• Experience publishing at least one application on the Google Play Store.
• Strong understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to work in a hybrid capacity from New York.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with Java in an Android development context.
• Experience with modern Android libraries like Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Room, and Hilt.
