Location: Must be based in or be able to commute to Los Angeles, Palo Alto, or San Francisco (Hybrid: 3 days/week in-office)

Salary: $145,000–$170,000 per year

What you will do

• Contribute to the architecture, design, and implementation of new features within the Android app.
• Develop compelling in-app experiences that reach millions of global users.
• Coordinate with product and design teams to influence the development roadmap.
• Create and maintain internal shared frameworks and libraries to improve development efficiency.
• Evolve architecture to support complex authentication flows and account management.
• Collaborate with analytics and data scientist teams to build innovative data tools.

Requirements

• 1+ year of professional experience building native Android applications.
• Significant experience with Kotlin.
• Strong software architecture background and familiarity with design patterns like MVVM or MVP.
• Understanding of Dependency Injection, specifically implementing Dagger.
• Proficiency using coroutines for asynchronous tasks.
• Clear communication skills and a solutions-oriented approach to code quality.

Nice to have

• Experience with full-stack application architecture including API design and UI wireframing.
• Deep understanding of Material Design guidelines.
• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
