What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy Cognos reports and self-service dashboards.
• Create and maintain robust semantic layers using Framework Manager.
• Develop complex SQL and stored procedures for data reporting.
• Optimize report performance and troubleshoot query issues.
• Implement and maintain security models for platform access control.
• Collaborate with data architects to ensure data integrity and integration.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• 2-4+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise BI development.
• Extensive knowledge of IBM Cognos Analytics.
• Strong SQL skills including complex joins and window functions.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tableau or PowerBI.
• Familiarity with Azure or cloud-based Cognos.
• Experience with IBM Planning Analytics/TM1 or Salesforce.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
