Senior Manager, Workforce Management (Operations): Leading end-to-end workforce planning, scheduling, and real-time management for a large-scale operations team with an accent on budget accountability, forecasting accuracy, and resource optimization. Location: Must be based near Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis to work in a hybrid capacity

What you will do

  • Lead and develop a team of 19 analysts and managers responsible for workforce management services.
  • Develop and execute accurate workforce forecasts and capacity plans for large-scale operations.
  • Monitor real-time performance and adjust staffing levels to meet service level goals.
  • Optimize schedules to balance operational requirements, employee preferences, and labor costs.
  • Establish and report on key performance indicators to identify operational improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technology and analytics to align strategy with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience leading workforce management teams in a high-volume, customer-centric environment.
  • Expert level proficiency in workforce management tools and systems.
  • Advanced statistical modeling skills, including machine learning and regression models (ARIMA, Prophet).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence senior executives.
  • Must be able to work in a hybrid model near company offices in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience within the gig worker industry.
