What you will do

  • Define and execute the strategic operational lifecycle for digital archive assets across broadcast and publishing.
  • Serve as the primary custodian for metadata governance, schema strategy, and end-to-end digital rights.
  • Lead the implementation of AI-powered tools for automated logging and enrichment, ensuring human-in-the-loop quality standards.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to build technically robust, cost-efficient archival pipelines.
  • Navigate complex legal frameworks to facilitate commercial distribution of digitized content.
  • Drive organisational design and change management to support long-term media preservation goals.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in media operations, digital asset management (DAM/MAM), or senior leadership.
  • Must have the right to lawfully work and live in Australia.
  • Technical expertise in cloud infrastructure and practical application of AI/ML within content workflows.
  • Strong executive-level influence skills, with the ability to communicate strategy to C-suite stakeholders.
  • Deep knowledge of broadcast and publishing formats and media history preservation.
