What you will do

• Build and own the end-to-end procurement function, including policy design, intake systems, and approval paths.
• Lead direct negotiations for pricing, SLAs, SOWs, and renewals to secure the best commercial outcomes.
• Partner with Legal, Security, and Finance teams to manage contract reviews, risk assessments, and compliance diligence.
• Design scalable tooling and playbooks for procurement intake, contract tracking, and vendor reporting.
• Oversee the vendor lifecycle, including performance reviews, renewal planning, and identifying consolidation or savings opportunities.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada
• 6+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management within a technology or SaaS environment.
• Proven ability to build and operate procurement processes, policies, and systems from scratch.
• Strong experience negotiating SaaS, cloud, and professional services agreements.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders including Legal, Security, and IT.
• Strong analytical and financial skills to evaluate total cost of ownership and manage complex vendor landscapes.
