TL;DR

Business Development Representative (Sales): Driving targeted outbound prospecting and lead generation for a cloud visibility platform with an accent on identifying new business opportunities and managing sales pipelines. Focus on developing qualified leads through outbound efforts and collaborating with regional sales teams to achieve aggressive quarterly and annual quotas.

Location: Must reside near Dallas, TX and commute to the office 3 times per week

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000

What you will do

  • Act as a liaison between potential customers and the internal marketing and sales teams.
  • Execute targeted outbound prospecting activities via phone and email.
  • Research, identify, and qualify new business opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Transition qualified leads to Regional Sales Directors to close business.
  • Develop and manage a consistent lead pipeline to meet quarterly and annual sales quotas.

Requirements

  • Must reside near the Dallas, TX area and be able to commute to the office 3 times per week.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a business or sales development role, preferably in the technology sector.
  • Strong verbal and written communication along with effective presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to articulate complex client challenges and propose effective solutions.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience using Salesforce.com.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
