Technical Account Manager - xLake: Data & AI Platform

Salary: £150,000–£180,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead customer technical projects, including reference architectures, technical guides, demo applications, and production-grade MVPs.
• Advise customers on architecture, design, implementation, deployment, and adoption of data platform solutions.
• Support data migrations, installations, deployments, and transformations across complex environments.
• Design scalable, performant, secure, cloud-native solutions across Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and data workflows.
• Own technical success plans, monitor adoption and deployment health, and mitigate customer risks.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, Project Management, and Support teams while translating technical outcomes into business impact.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience as a Solution Architect in enterprise data management, data platforms, or distributed systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of data pipelines, metadata management, data observability, lineage, governance, data quality, and data catalogs.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and modern cloud data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Kafka, Kubernetes, containerized workloads, and open-source big data technologies.
• Strong consultative, executive communication, stakeholder management, and customer relationship skills.

Nice to have

• Experience at a global systems integrator or consulting firm managing multiple customer engagements.
• Experience with Informatica, Collibra, Alation, Atlan, or similar data quality, catalog, and governance tools.
