What you will do

• Analyze, design, and develop clean, maintainable code within a complex established codebase.
• Contribute to the evolution of the technical infrastructure through microservice-based development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design new features and re-architect existing systems.
• Work within an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality web-based software solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best software development practices across the team.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Buenos Aires, Argentina
• 5+ years of professional web development experience with React, JavaScript ES6, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Solid understanding of distributed architecture and experience debugging high-load systems.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure including AWS (EC2, ECS, Lambda, SNS).
• Strong proficiency in code versioning tools like GIT.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Next.js, PHP, or Laravel.
• Proficiency in schema design for relational or NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB).
• Background in building PCI compliant or eCommerce systems.
• Experience with microfrontend architectures and design systems.
