TL;DR

Senior Solutions Architect (Salesforce): Architecting, designing, and validating scalable technical solutions for large nonprofit enterprise customers with an accent on Salesforce integration and ecosystem best practices. Location: Must be based in the San Francisco, Bay Area with a 3x per week in-office requirement.

What you will do

  • Lead end-to-end technical solution architecture design for enterprise customers.
  • Accelerate sales cycles by resolving technical gaps, risks, and integration constraints.
  • Translate complex business needs into actionable technical requirements for implementation teams.
  • Act as a primary technical advisor during discovery, build, and delivery phases.
  • Develop reusable solution patterns and integration frameworks for Salesforce ecosystems.
  • Advise internal product and engineering teams on customer requirements and platform strategy.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in pre-sales architecture, consulting, or professional services.
  • 5+ years of experience as a certified Salesforce Administrator/Architect.
  • Must be based in the San Francisco, Bay Area and able to work in-office 3x a week.
  • Strong expertise with ReST APIs, JavaScript, and middleware implementation.
  • Proven ability to manage enterprise clients and negotiate technical decisions.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills suitable for executive-level interaction.

Nice to have

  • Experience with payment processing systems.
  • Background in the nonprofit or fundraising industry.
  • Knowledge of tools like Zapier, Microsoft Dynamics, Google Analytics, or Blackbaud.
  • Experience with Salesforce NPSP or Nonprofit Cloud.
