Salary: The annual base salary for this role is between $246,000 USD and $369,000 USD (USA-based roles) or between $228,000 CAD and $342,000 CAD (Canada-based roles).

What you will do
- Set the rules for where model-based reasoning is appropriate and where deterministic systems must take over.
- Define standards for signal collection, aggregation, retention, and use, including decisions about local vs. remote processing.
- Design the control model for agentic and tool-using systems, including permission boundaries, approval paths, and audit logs.
- Establish platform primitives for teams to build AI features consistently and safely.
- Make key architecture calls on build vs. integrate decisions.
- Work with Security, Privacy, Legal, and Compliance early in the design process.
Requirements
- Experience building and operating production systems where trust, correctness, and failure handling matter.
- Deep experience with AI or ML systems in production, including LLM-integrated systems.
- Strong instincts for privacy-preserving design.
- Meaningful depth in security-sensitive domains such as identity, authentication, or secrets management.
- Track record of setting technical direction across multiple teams.
- Ability to communicate clearly with engineers, executives, and cross-functional partners.
Nice to have
- Experience with endpoint or device posture signals, browser or extension security, or phishing detection.
- Experience with SaaS administration, identity lifecycle workflows, or enterprise policy automation.
- Experience building evaluation, red-team, or abuse-testing frameworks for AI-assisted systems.
