What you will do

• Architect end-to-end automation systems for package creation, test generation, and image building.
• Develop LLM-integrated agentic pipelines for manifest generation and quality validation.
• Write production-grade Go code for CLI tools, internal services, and system integrations.
• Build tooling to improve reliability, including test scaffolding and automated quality gates.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a growing team of engineers.
• Collaborate with leadership to shape the technical roadmap and long-term organizational strategy.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Go development.
• Demonstrable experience with AI/LLM integration for code generation or developer tooling.
• Deep knowledge of Linux, containerization (Docker, OCI), and Kubernetes.
• Expertise in systems architecture and building scalable, loosely-coupled systems.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Contributions to open-source projects.
• Understanding of software supply chain security standards (SBOM, signing, provenance).
• Experience with specialized tools like melange, apko, or Wolfi.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, FIPS, or STIG.
