Infrastructure Support Engineer

TL;DR

Infrastructure Support Engineer: Providing 3rd line technical support and managing on-premises infrastructure, including networking and end-user computing, with an accent on secure, scalable, and supportable technical solutions. Location: Liverpool City Centre, UK on a hybrid working basis.

Salary: £33,500 - £40,000 Depending on experience

What you will do

• Provide 3rd Line BAU technical support to the 2nd line internal IT Helpdesk.
• Support the cloud platform team for activities and management of elements in the Azure cloud environment.
• Participate in the deployment and management of the on-premises infrastructure, ensuring appropriate monitors, alerts, backups, and recovery plans.
• Manage Active Directory and associated services, including internal and external secure certificates.
• Perform scheduled operational resilience recovery tests and monthly security updates.
• Work with SecOps on vulnerability remediation and InfoSec on audit processes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar 3rd line/infrastructure focused role.
• IT Support background and ticket management experience.
• Practical experience delivering and supporting network, server, storage, and security technologies.
• Experience with Backup solutions and recovery processes.
• Practical understanding of MS Exchange, Exchange Online & Office 365.
• Applicants must have at least one year remaining on their Graduate or Post-Study Work visa. At the moment, we’re not able to offer visa sponsorship.
